The Process

Slow craft, made transparent.

Every commission follows the same five careful steps. You'll know exactly where your piece is at every stage.

Why we work this way

Each step earns the next.

We don't rush a proof, we don't cut without approval, and we don't ship without packing each piece as if it were going to a museum.

The result is a piece that arrives feeling considered — and a commission process that you can recommend to others without hesitation.

01

Choose your piece

Browse our collections or supply a piece of your own — a flute, decanter, vase or trophy blank. We'll advise on suitability.

02

Send your design or wording

Email us your text, logo, sketch or photograph. The more detail you can share about the occasion, the better.

03

Approve the hand-drawn proof

We'll respond with a hand-drawn proof and a quote, usually within two working days. Revise as many times as needed before we commit to cutting.

04

Engraving begins

Once approved, your piece is engraved with diamond burrs — patiently, by hand, in our Cowes studio.

05

Delivery or collection

Wrapped, boxed and delivered UK-wide within 7–14 days. Collection from the studio by appointment is also welcome.
